An estimate is only as good as what feeds it. Six things resolve before a single line is priced.
Your address
Location resolves to a climate zone, regional material choices, seasonal cost factors, currency and local labor baselines. Pricing is built against those rather than a national average.
The trade the work belongs to
Your description is classified against a knowledge base of construction subtrades, and the follow-up questions come from that result. Tile work gets tile questions, a panel upgrade gets electrical ones.
Site photos
Up to five photos of the space are read for existing conditions, visible damage and materials, then folded into the project before anything is priced.
Dimensions and quantities
Material lines carry quantities and unit costs rather than a single bundled figure, so you can see which line is driving the total and challenge it.
Timing
Start dates are checked against seasonal windows and holidays for your region, because when the work happens changes what it costs.
Recomputed totals
Every total is rebuilt from the itemized lines rather than taken from the model. Materials, labor, permits, contingency and margin each carry their own line in every tier.

No tool can see behind your walls from a description and five photos. The generated estimate is a planning-stage range, and it is the right instrument for deciding whether to proceed, which tier to build, and what budget to set. It is not a contract price, and treating it as one would be a mistake we would rather you did not make.
